All right, so Bob Pusateri ( Blog | Twitter ) posted his Bucket List this morning, and if I don’t post one right now, I’ll forget about it. I haven’t seen the movie, but apparently I’m missing out, so I will add it to my queue.
In no particular order…
Visit Redwood National Park
There is just something about those trees that I have to see in person.
Sky dive
I’m with Bob on this one. It’s a little bit scarier now that I have kids; so much more to lose.
Live in Italy
I lived there for four weeks in college one summer, as part of study abroad. I love it all: the food, the architecture, the art, the countryside…the gelato.
Run a marathon
I feel I have to do this, yet it scares the hell out of me. But I will regret if I don’t do it. Hopefully it will be the Nike Women’s Marathon which has traditionally been held in San Francisco, CA. When you finish you get a Tiffany necklace. Yes, I need the promise of jewelry to get me through all 26.2 miles.
Attend a movie premiere
As a huge fan of movies, I think it would be cool to get all made up and go to a premiere. Preferably for a movie I want to see.
Become a SQL Server Microsoft Certified Master
Again, agreeing with Bob. This represents the top of the mountain for me, in regard to SQL Server knowledge. I realize I can know a lot about SQL Server and be well-respected in the community without being a MCM – there are a lot of those people already. It’s the challenge that appeals to me. Three weeks of insanity to earn the certification? Bring it.
